St. Regis 661 Tombstone by International Kadette (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

St. Regis 661 Tombstone by International Kadette (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

St Regis was the high-end line made by Lansing Michigan based International Kadette. The line was designed to offer a more stylized and better quality radio. They clearly succeeded, as these radios are prized by collectors. Note the finely detailing lacquer finishes high-lighting the classic and stunning form. The radio retains an original finish, with what I believe replacement speaker cloth. The radio has the factory wood knobs and a fine silk power cord. Take a look at the ornate and detailed dial. The radio was a state of the art five band receiver, and plays on a very reliable five-tube chassis. My technician has complete his very though repairs and the radio is a fantastic player. The selectivity for a five-tube chassis is unusually sensitive. 17-1/2"H x 14-1/4"W x 10-1/2"D.
