Westinghouse WR100 "Juke" (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Westinghouse WR100 "Juke" (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is an interesting petite Deco tombstone called "Juke." The radio is a five-tube super-het offering both broadcast and shortwave reception. The radio is a very decorative model, with an ornate rep-wood grille that covers the front of the radio. This is a Rare Westinghouse WR-100 "Juke" Mini Tombstone wooden tube radio from 1935 in restored, working condition.. This "pixie" set will fit anywhere. The AM and Sort wave dial looks even better lit up at night! Interestingly, this Westinghouse set uses the same chassis as an Emerson U5A of the same time period. A true "Golden Age" gem. Just about as good as it gets. I replaced the original "curtain burner" resistive line cord with a safer line cord. I picked up a number of stations across the dial on a short antenna. This is very compact and stately 10"H x 7-1/2"W x 6"D jewel.
