Arvin 40 "Mighty Mite" (1938)
(metal tube table radio)

Arvin 40 "Mighty Mite" (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is the lowest tube count radio that Arvin made and is rather hard to find. It is AM only and only has two tubes! It has a small metal case that is painted ivory and shows some nicks in the paint here and there. It has the original knobs, metal back and antenna hank. I went through this set and replaced all the caps, the cord plug for safety and aligned it. It works with the antenna hank but could use some additional long wire. It picks up local stations with good volume. The coffee cup is not for sale but gives a good idea of the radio's size. This would make a nice addition to your Arvin metal radio collection or just play it at home or office. 6"W x 5"H x 4"D.
