Barbie is all ready to cruse in her vintage Austin Healey Sprite which is actually a sleek looking AM/FM clock/radio. The radio and the digital clock are working very well. The radios volume and the tuning controls are the hub caps and the other controls for the clocks functions and AM/FM switch are under the hood. Made in Japan for Realistic and sold in Radio Shack stores from late 1975. This Limited Edition and good working transistor radio was made to celebrate America's Bicentennial. The well made radio with the figures, the fife player the drummers and the American flag are all die-cast and mounted on a simulated wood case. Uses a 9 volt battery (not included). 8"H.  $29.50. Vintage and rare is this Savings Bank Radio made in Hong Kong about the late 1970s or early 80s. The wagon is made to simulate wood and of a plastic resin and the dog is all rubber. This is in new condition in the original box and has never been used except to put a battery in it to be sure it was working. It also has the owners instruction manual. The top opens and I guess you could put paper clips, stamps or something in there, maybe someone else has a clue that would help me out on that. It would be a cute desk top radio, it works real good. This beautifully done 1886 to 1986 commemorative statue of Lady Liberty was produced by Tandy and sold at the Radio Shack stores. The heavy copper clad statue is mounted on a simulated wood platform which contains the AM transistor radio and has the tuning and volume knobs on the side.
