| This is a dynamite playing Zenith Trans-Oceanic with a very nice case. The top handle has one light scratch. The rest of the top is in excellent condition. The sides have some folds that are normal with these radios. Inside the case a little wear around the dial knob. Battery box is pristine. It comes almost new looking log book and also an reproduction cord that looks original. It plays like no other on FM. AM/Shortwave is actually a little better than most. Very little alignment was needed. I put a picture of the capacitors that were replaced. A nice looking radio and this one has the dial in weather band which picks up all five weather channels. The radio is not just serviced, which replaces some electrolytic capacitors. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. It is also cleaned, lubed and each band is aligned to play like new. A whole year warranty. After it is shipped and playing at your doorstep, they never come back to me. The radio will be shipped back to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days. Read some of my feedback on restoration on eBay under Hammer39. |
