El Ray Cathedral
(wood tube cathedral radio)

El Ray Cathedral

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little cathedral is only 11" tall and a real cutie. The model number is unknown. The radio retains an excellent original finish. The grille cloth is a correct replacement for the original. The chassis has been restored including braided cloth covered line cord. These were never great performing radios. Their purpose was to affordable radios in the home during the depression. The set plays fine and I'm able to pick up several stations. It dates from about 1932; 11"H x 9"W x 7"D.
