| Two tubes, BCB only. All electrolytics and paper capacitors replaced, contols cleaned and lubed. This is one of the less common Arvin models, it is not a superhet but works very well for local stations with just a few feet of antenna. Original knobs and back, both tubes have been replaced with new old stock to give years of performance. The original finish has a few scratches and chips, however I feel that it looks better than a new paint job would. The dial face is perfect. The speaker is an electrodynamic with the field coil doubling as a filter for the power supply, making the hum negligable. You'll be suprised at the volume and tone of this little two-lunger. |
