Village Belle (1955)

Like this radio?

Village Belle (1955)
Here is a wonderful wooden radio that looks like a old fashioned telephone. The "Village Belle" was manufactured to compete with the "Guild." The only difference is that the Guild had all of its controls on a side, while this one has ALL controls in the two bells. Right bell is the on/off and volume switch and the left bell is for stations search. The radio plays well; it operates on 110 volts and has the Standard American five tubes. A very sought after set, this radio is worth about twice my special Attic price.  $60.00. (0550032)
