This is a very collectable radio in great factory original condition. The radio is noted in a number of the collector's books, as it was designed to work in an upright way, or on either side. You will note the railings on both the right and left side of the radio which offers the choice of set direction. Many called the radio "three position." The radio has enjoyed a complete electronic overhaul and is set for many years of trouble free use. The radio has the complete factory back and the hallmark wood knobs. Note the slide rule dial, which became much more common place in later years. It was a style leader like Stewart Warner, which introduced this styling innovation to the radio world.
