Silvertone was the flagship line of the famed Sears Stores. They were America's national retailer and published a catalogue that was necessary read in the hinterlands. Anywhere in America, you could shop as effectively as on Ohio Avenue in Chicago. They contracted the production of the "house line" to various makers and held very high standards from those companies that were their supplier base. This nice radio is a great example of their product. The radio is a dual band, six-tube radio. The careful construction is very apparent inside and out. This powerful receiver has had a complete restoration and should provide you years of fine service. 17-1/4"H x 13"W x 10"D.
