Stewart-Warner R136-A Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Stewart-Warner R136-A Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a striking tombstone radio. The radio is highly stylized with a dramatic amount of detail. I had Scott do his professional refinish to the cabinet as the radio deserved the best. Contained within is a five-tube super-het chassis offering both AM and Shortwave reception. The brightly lit dial has really a dramatic nighttime look. The speaker cloth and knobs are both factory original. Les has done his professional repairs and this high grade receiver plays extremely well. Les added a mini-jack to all you to connect any modern device and listen to anything you might want. These are not common radios and desired as most Stewart-Warner models for the fine quality of the manufacture. Bluetooth is available. 17-1/4"H x 13-5/8"W x 9"D.
