Detrola 5W (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Detrola 5W (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I acquired this highly collectible Detrola tombstone over 25 years ago from the family who originally purchased it in Cleveland, Ohio. It came from the Tremont neighborhood just two blocks from where the legendary Christmas Story movie was filmed. It's so original I never had the desire to have it restored in any way. Hence, this set is sold as-is. Nevertheless, it's a classic and unique display radio. It weighs 16 pounds; 15-3/4"H x 12-3/4"W x 7"D.
