This Philco features their famous "Cone-Centric" dial mechanism. It surely looks great, but it's a rather odd mechanism to use. You must pull out the tuning knob to rotate it and then push in it to lock in your station. A prior owner did a spectacular job refinishing this radio and the electronics have been restored as well. I had difficulty tuning in a good signal but I only receive one or two stations in my basement radio room. It powers up just fine but for this reason alone, it's sold "as is." This radio weighs 25 pounds; 18-1/4"W x 11-1/4"H x 9-3/4"D.
