Very nice Silvertone "Cube," quite a difficult set to find, is being offered here for the first time on The Radio Attic. Similar to other cube sets by Silvertone, most of which are all the five- or six-tube variety, this one is a seven-tube set and is quite a performer on the AM broadcast band and its two shortwave bands. Original knobs and original finish on the beautiful cabinet, which has unusually light wear for being just 81 years young! The electronics have been completely restored (no shortcut repairs and it is internally fused for your safety). It plays very well with nice soothing sound, utilizing the selective tone control. The green magic tuning eye tube is bright and mesmerizing in a darkened room. Not only have I added an MP3 input, I am also including a Bluetooth receiver so you can directly connect your MP3 device or stream your music using your own Bluetooth device. 16-1/2"W x 13-1/2"H x 9"D.
