Philco 37-60 Cathedral (1937)
(wood tube cathedral radio w/SW)

Philco 37-60 Cathedral (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Manufactured in 1937, this cathedral is the last in a long line of Philco model 60s. In my mind, this is what people envision when they are thinking of a classic antique radio. It is a five tube Superheterodyne broadcast band (AM), shortwave and police band receiver. The original paper faux was damaged, so we replaced it with real burl veneer and copied the markings to make it look like the original?-only real wood! All electronics restored and new capacitors.
