Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" (1949)
(Plaskon tube table radio w/FM)

Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great vintage Zenith radio to really enjoy as you're able to pick up both AM and FM broadcasting stations. This 1949 "Triumph" in beautiful ivory Plaskon was an early Zenith entry into both AM and FM bandwidths. This model Zenith is almost impossible to find in beautiful ivory Plaskon without any major cosmetic damage. This case has no major issues like chips or cracks, but there is one tiny line right above the "e" in Zenith on the top edge, just on the edge and a very minor distraction from the beautiful ivory Plaskon case. These Zenith cases are also very hard to find with the brass Zenith eagle crest still on the case. Most fell off, or were pulled off by naughty children. The set has been checked by a professional and is playing well on both the AM and FM bands. There are three front original knobs for off/on, band selection, and tuning, as well as a side knob for tone. The original back is on the case. A nice example of Zenith history and case design, as well as a great set to listen to and enjoy. "ZENITH. The quality goes in before the name goes on!" About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. I will include a frameable copy of the original magazine ad for the radio at no charge.
