Crosley D-25-TN "Buick Front" (1953)
(plastic tube clock radio)

Crosley D-25-TN "Buick Front" (1953)

SALE!  This tan Crosley color clock radio is a Retro icon from the 1950's and is in excellent condition. The styling on these early 1950's radios was obviously inspired by the automobile industry with the use of flashy metal trim, swooping symmetrical curves, and a speedometer-like dial. The metal escutcheons on this set are in very excellent condition with hardly any tarnishing from over 75 years of use. The color coordinated clock knobs are on the radio, and the original back also. And there is a complete label on the bottom. The clock is working, keeping good time. The radio is playing, tuning all my local AM stations clearly with no problems. This is a super nice example of this radio that looks quite elegant in its original tan color. There are no cracks, chips, or other significant cosmetic issues, or repairs. You would be hard pressed to find a better D-25 unless it had been stored in its original box brand new, as they just don't get much better than this. And it comes with a copy of its original instruction booklet. About 13"W x 7-1/2"H x 7"D.  Was $298.00, now $275.00. (1150945)
