Here is a stylish Sears Silvertone from 1953. The mahogany cabinet has been refinished in a gloss lacquer with a new grille cloth. The chassis has had all wax and electrolytic capacitors replaced, tubes and resistors checked and alignment peaked. The selenium rectifier has been replaced with a diode. A Bluetooth receiver has also been added to the phono input circuit so streaming audio can be received and played through the radio speaker. Flipping the switch mounted on the back panel powers on the Bluetooth receiver which then can be paired to your phone. 15"W x 9"H x 8"D. |
