Silvertone 9000 (1952)

Clean, shiny, pretty example of this mighty little gem. This model was made for a six-year stretch from the late 40s to early 50s. I've dated this one by the stamp on the bottom label. It's an interesting All-American Five that's on the cusp of two eras: it uses three regular and two miniature tubes, but retains the larger, older-style IF cans that aren't subject to silver mica disease. It's been recapped, aligned, had its tubes all checked, and lubricated. A new power cord was also installed. Very shiny, no cracks. scratches or notable defects. Plays well on its single AM band. Compact and cute, 8-1/2"W x 5-3/4"H x 6"D including the knobs. Like all of my radios, this one will be well-packed using industrial-grade packaging materials and sent in a properly-sized box.
