This absolutely gorgeous, Zenith 5S127 was very popular in its day, and remains very popular with collectors today. 53 of them have sold on the Attic, several in the $800 range, one of those earlier this year. The stylish three-tone cabinet is fronted with the classic Zenith micro-tune black dial, and Z-top wooden knobs. This one literally sparkles with a 17-coat, slick lacquer finish and three sanding operations. My usual, thorough chassis restoration with all new caps and almost all new resistors. Fitted with all high testing tubes for long service life. All original type tubes and tube shields. The sound is very good from the perfect, original 6-inch speaker. Three very tiny veneer repairs on the back edge of the bottom stripes. I feel safe in saying you will be hard pressed to find a nicer example of this popular classic! Requires an external antenna. 18-1/2"H x 13-1/2"W x 9-1/2"D.
