Crosley 10-135 Coloradio "Dashboard" (1950)
(plastic tube table radio w/Aux or Bluetooth)

Crosley 10-135 Coloradio "Dashboard" (1950)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This radio features a factory installed RCA jack in the back for another listening option beyond the standard AM broadcasts in lieu of my usual 3.5mm cord. The Crosley "dashboard" series are among the best styled radios of the 1950's, inspired by the ornate and chrome bedazzled cars of the decade. This one is an exceptionally nice example of a popular model in the series. The crack-free cabinet sports all original paint and chrome! Just try finding a 1950 Buick with original paint and chrome like this radio still has. There were a few tiny spots that were carefully touched up with matching enamel paint but this is by far the nicest original example I've ever run across. These sets were reproduced as solid state Chinese knock-offs in the 1980s-90s but you can't beat the original deep rich tube sound these sets have. It has been recapped, aligned, tubes tested strong, controls cleaned & lubricated, so it plays loud and clear across the dial with its built-in loop antenna, receiving all my local stations. If you've always wanted a Crosley dashboard set, or just a radio with a lot of bling or eye candy, this is it! 12-3/4"W x 7"H x 7"D.
