Emerson 141 Tombstone w/Ingraham Cabinet (1937)
Emerson 141 Tombstone w/Ingraham Cabinet (1937)
Sold by Lew Magrish on July 5, 2019
Listed price on date of sale - $699.00
Here is a super five-tube super-het tombstone from the liaison between Ingraham Cabinet and Emerson Radio. The radio plays on both broadcast and shortwave. The cabinet is all original in condition with a complete decal and foil Ingraham tag on the back. The craftsmanship of the Ingraham people is well preserved and it appears to my eye to be crafted of book matched walnut. The retains the original knobs and speaker cloth This is an uncommon radio and the nicest one I have seen. Les has completed his professional repairs and the radio is a fantastic player. The chassis is the more deluxe version and plays on both AM and Shortwave. The repairs are excellent and this All American Five offers a terrific sound with the vertical mount speaker. The radio offers a full room level of sound. Les has added a mini-jack for your choice of modern input device. You can listen to your phone, pad or computer using this connection. Bluetooth is available for $25! 13-1/2"H x 11-3/4"W x 9"D.
