This RCA set is a superheterodyne dual-speaker eight-tube radio and it receives broadcasts on both AM and FM. It has been completely restored; all the older capacitors now have been replaced with the newer longer lasting type, tubes have all been checked with the dead or weak ones being replaced with new or test like new tubes. The electrolytic capacitors have also been replaced so you will not be hearing that deep hum like you do in many older radios. It sounds and looks great.
