Zenith A-600L Leather Trans-Oceanic (1958)
(suitcase tube portable radio)

Zenith A-600L Leather Trans-Oceanic (1958)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Most of the Zenith Tube T/O's play well, but every now and then you get a chassis that looks like new and plays like dynamite. Most likely the radio was rarely used. The radio has been bullet proofed with a solid state 50A1 and a solid state 1L6. Besides electronically restoring these radios with all new capacitors, diode and some resistors, all parts are cleaned and oiled including the power cord real. The cabinet pieces are taken apart and cleaned. I did not touch the cabinet leather itself as it is in great condition. All the plastic parts are cleaned and polished. Every part is put back in the original position. It also comes with the Frequency Log Charts on the top lid. This radio has a couple small scrapes on the leather. The plastic has a repaired crack on the right and a two inch stress crack on the top. But the dial plastic itself is clear and in great condition. The antenna is straight and springs up. The Wavemagnet has a couple of small smudges on it. It is an awesome AM and Short-wave player and it comes at a very reasonable price
