| This is from my own radio collection - a really nice Majestic Charlie McCarthy Novelty white Bakelite tube radio. This radio displays and plays extremely well. This famous "Charlie McCarthy" set with a metal figure perched on a ledge, was one of the first of many radios with popular figures on them. This painted Bakelite is in great condition containing no cracks or breaks and has been cosmetically restored. The figurine is original and has been repainted by a professional and best of all, the entire monocle is still there on Charlie. The chassis is clean and has been restored to its original playing condition. The back is a reproduction cardboard back. Email for more pictures of the case and chassis. 7-1/2"W x 6"H x 6"D. |
