THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This was the first transistorized Zenith Trans-Oceanic 1000 off the assembly line built in 1957. You can tell it was one of the first by the Genuine Leather stamp on the inside cover and the plastic attached battery box in the back. The leather does not shrink as the later vinyl ones did. The first ones off the assembly line were not labeled 1000 in the back and the wavemagnet was attached to the battery box from the right side. Also some trimmers are in a different place as well. Definitely a Zenith Trans-Oceanic collectors item. This ones frequency pickup is awesome one shortwave. The case is in great condition. The battery box, log book and extra antenna are excellent. It is restored with all new electrolytic capacitors which will allow the radio to play another 40 years like new. 1 year warranty. The radio will be shipped to you by USPS Priority which only takes 2-3 days.
