Pilot 304 Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Pilot 304 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I am offering for sale this beautiful and rare Pilot 304 eleven-tube AM/shortwave tombstone. The cabinet design of the 304 is impressive and beautiful. Pilot Radio Corporation (Brooklyn, NY) was known for the high quality and high standards in design and performance of their radios. The Pilot 304 was one the best radios Pilot ever made, which is saying a lot. This a large, expertly designed tombstone that could be the center piece of any collection. The waterfall front design with the fluted grille cuts, plus the center tuning eye makes this set a real showstopper. The cabinet is in very nice original condition with original grill cloth and knobs. The Pilot 304 has an eleven-tube chassis which makes it rare and very hard to find (this is the only one I have seen in 30 years of collecting). This radio plays and sounds fantastic. It features push pull, class A audio feeding in to a powerful 10-inch speaker. This is absolutely a top-of-the-line radio. It has been completely electronically restored and play like new. I can add an aux/Bluetooth input if requested. Please email me with any question you have. Don't miss the opportunity to own this very rare set. 22"H x 16"W x 12"D.
