Arvin 851T (1954)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This uniquely styled glossy brown/black mottled Bakelite cabinet is without cracks or chips. A "Mercedes" emblem & the silver perforated metal grille are excellent. The frosted & reverse painted gold station dial is in great shape with just a few flea bites towards the bottom. The silver inset control knobs are perfect as is the gold-tone metal dial pointer. All sit on a neat waffle patterned front. Note the unusual & working diamond shaped dial light cover at the top! The five tube AM only chassis plays well. Comes with a replacement cardboard back & 95% tube layout bottom label. An eye catcher for mid-century collector or decor! 11"W x 6"H x 5"D.
