Erla Cathedral
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Erla Cathedral

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The pictures do not do justice to this absolutely beautiful little cathedral. Toppo Restorations refinished the cabinet, but it still retains the original grille cloth and knobs. The set dates from C. 1931 making this an early if not the first use of a slide rule dial on a US made table model. I have not seen it done on any cathedrals made during this period. The book Table Top Radios Volime 4 shows a similar Erla with a four tube chassis. This has a six tube chassis and the cabinet is different. The chassis is all original including a very nice original Jensen speaker. The chassis has been serviced and plays well. 15"H x 12"W x 8-1/4"D.
