THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This small battery portable was very innovative for 1940. It is among the best examples I've seen, but unfortunately the lid is damaged. It is cracked at both hinges with the worst side shown. The lid also has a chip at the front right corner. Otherwise the chrome and case are in beautiful condition. The interior is extra clean and shows no signs of ever being serviced. There is no leakage from the old batteries so I have left them for display. I did test it and there was a strong audio hum. This radio still makes a great display and conversation piece. 9"W x 3"H x 3-3/4"D.
