Philco 20 Cathedral (1930)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Philco 20 Cathedral (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Called the "Baby Grand," this cathedral radio retailed for $49.50 less tubes; over 300,000 were made. It is as popular today with collectors. Although it is easy to find these sets, many are in poor condition. This one has been refinished and displays well. The knobs are correct reproductions, but otherwise it is original down to the power cord. Five of the seven tubes are Philco brand. The most remarkable thing about this radio is that the chassis has never been serviced and it still plays good. I've handled thousands of radios and I believe this is a first for me with an eighty year old set. I feel it is important to preserve this one as is and that is how it is offered. 17-1/2"H x 15"W x 9-1/2"D.
