Guild 484 "Spice Chest"
(wood tube novelty radio)

Guild 484 "Spice Chest"

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Guild made a number of novelty sets during the 50's, but this is the earliest example I'm aware of. The chassis has a date stamp of 4/6/52. The original finish has a lot of accent shading which gives it a period look and unlike any I've seen. It is super clean inside and all original. The chassis has been serviced and plays great. An early and beautiful example of this radio ready for display.
