| The quality goes in before the name goes on was first used by Zenith in 1927. Production of the H500 started in 1951. This is a nice example but has a couple issues. There are a number of fine stress hairlines in the plastic face panel. Although these are common to these sets there are several on this. In the front picture of the set you can see the majority of these. In addition the Zenith crest logo in the center of the antenna is missing one of three prongs. Overall it is in very good condition and displays well. The pop up antenna works well. The chassis has been serviced receiving both AM and also SW. |
