Zenith G500 Trans-Oceanic
(suitcase tube portable radio w/SW)

Zenith G500 Trans-Oceanic

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The Zenith G500 was a transition model introduced in 1949, later replaced by the H500 in 1950. Because of the short production cycle not as as many of these can be found today as the other models. The G500 no longer used the Loctal tubes but changed to seven pin miniature types that would become standard. This is a excellent all original example right down to the power cord. The chassis has been serviced and is very clean. The set receives both AM and SW and makes a great display piece.
