These tiny tube portables were an attempt to compete with the booming transistor market of the time. In fact they were cheaper to produce than transistor sets at first. This set looks like it has spent its entire life on a display shelf; it?s deadmint! Cabinet is made of thick powder-blue plastic and is in near-perfect condition. When tested the radio played but with extremely low volume. Therefore it is sold as a non-playing shelf unit only. 6??W x 3??H x 2?D.
