Crosley 517 "Teledial" (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Crosley 517 "Teledial" (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

AM/SW. Rare and unique radio with a beautiful walnut case in excellent condition. Radio may be tuned by the lower center tuning knob or the "Teledial" outer perforated tuning dial which looks like a rotary telephone. In 38 years this is the only Crosley 517 I have ever seen with the optional Teledial. Original grille cloth, three Crosley knobs and translucent gold mirrored dial face in nice shape. Chassis has been serviced, realigned (see below) and radio plays well on both bands with above average sensitivity. 10-3/4"W x 13"H x 7"D.
