RCA 56X5 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

AM/SW. Called the "12,000 Miler" because it was RCA's first post war radio to use their newly designed (at the time) six tube premium chassis. Outer solid rock maple wood case in good original condition with some normal wear to the finish in a few spots. Dial glass and three original RCA knobs in nice shape. Sticker on the bottom. Six tube premium chassis has been serviced (see below) and radio plays well with above average sensitivity and nice tone on both AM and the 8 to 16 MHz SW band. 61 years old and still running great! 14-3/4"W x 8-3/4"H x 8"D.
