THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Medium sized table radio. Sold in 1942, but made in 1941 before the war effort used electronic hardware and labor normally used to make consumer radios. Tunes the AM broadcast band and shortwave. A built-in loop antenna performs well on the AM band and a length of insulated wire works on the shortwave band. Adding more wire to the existing wire will improve shortwave reception. The stations indicated on the pushbuttons are from the Los Angeles area. The electronics have been restored and cabinet refinished as needed. As a result the radio will reliably perform well and has a nice appearance. The radio will be carefully packed so that it will arrive in good condition.
