Emerson 602A (1949)
(plastic tube table radio)

Emerson 602A (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

If you know Donald Fagen and Walter Becker you know Steely Dan! And, if you know Steely Dan...you know FM (the song)! And, here is one of the earliest and best looking FM radios from any era! This maroon Emerson is more beautiful than any iPod (in my opinion). Electronically reconditioned and playing nicely! All six tubes are strong. You can shave on the bottom, it's so shiny. Tube layout is on the inside. It'll need a dipole or wire extension for best reception. This Emerson 602 broke the Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty." If you'd like additional pictures, please let me know.
