THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

In my humble opinion, this classic chocolaty brown swirled Bakelite design from Artone reminds me of a Studebaker Champion from the same year! Back then I'd never think "the look" of both would endure to 2015 and beyond! The folks (incl. my dad @Study) that assembled these babies had no idea they'd be listened to and driven almost 70 years down the road! This Artone beauty has been electronically reconditioned, aligned, all paper capacitors and electrolytics and out of tolerance resistors replaced. The tube layout is in fine shape on the inside case and the five tubes are in strong shape! With an external antenna for added sensitivity. A Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty" A Champion's Special!
