Radiola 511 (1940)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Radiola 511 (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

No, this is not a hen's tooth, but it is an original ivory Bakelite Radiola that could be confused with a hen's tooth because they both are so scarce! Whew, I wasn't sure I would be able to get that all in one sentence! Seriously, this Radio-ooh-la-la is in outstanding original condition and it plays beautifully! Electronically reconditioned and aligned. Old paper capacitors were replaced with new capacitors including electrolytics. And, all out of tolerance resistors were replaced. The five tubes are very strong and it has a new back. External antenna connection for greater sensitivity. A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "In Short Supply Special." If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 9-1/2"W x 7"H x 5-3/4"D.
