| Here is a unique transistor portable from Zenith's Asian operations. I am not sure when this was made, but what I do know is how impressive the performance is. Here are some of the features of this fine radio. Three bands: AM/FM/PSB. Its big speaker has tone control with a wide range making any broadcast sound fantastic. The public service band picks up a half dozen stations here in Minnesota, more at night. It has a lighted dial, a station strength indicator, telescoping antenna that folds away when not in use. It gets its power from six "C" batteries and will also work off of AC current, but I don't have the cord. Very compact at only 9-1/2"W and it has a strong metal handle. You will be pleased. |
