(plastic tube portable radio)

Silvertone 2214 "Medalist" (1960)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a seldom seen eight-transistor from the Sears/Arvin family. This one however, uses four common AA batteries, unlike many which use now obsolete batteries. This AM/SW radio is a powerhouse and a great DXer with its large tuning wheel dial and verier action. The SW performance is improved by screwing in the telescoping antenna (included). When antenna is not in use, store it in the bottom of the leather carrying case (also included). This is a fun unit to use and will perform as described upon delivery. Includes metal carry handle/stand.
