Zenith Royal 16 (1967)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Zenith Royal 16 (1967)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a beautiful brown version of the clamshell transistor made by Zenith in 1968 in Japan. It has an eight-transistor chassis that really performs. The brown grille on this is spectacular and really shines. It has been well protected by the clamshell cover. A nice feature about this radio is that it closes while playing protecting the tuning and volume dials from being changed and the sound protrudes thru the front. And it sounds real good. Plays on two "AA" batteries.
