Grunow 501 (1933)
(wood tube table radio)

Grunow 501 (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little chrome-faced beauty has been restored inside and out, with new finish modeled after the original. Some veneer work has been done on top, the grille cloth has been replaced, again sticking to the original pattern, and the AC cord has been updated, with conventional cloth covered cord and a diode/capacitor configuration replacing the old "curtain-burner" resistor wire. The five-tube super-het chassis has been aligned, and plays well across the dial, using the original field-coil speaker.
