Philco 20 Deluxe Cathedral (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

One of my all time Philco favorites, the "Baby Grand" was Philco's first cathedral radio; it was, believe it or not, considered a compact radio at the time. It's a fancy, dressed up version of the Philco 20, with fluted columns added along with curly maple arches. These dress-up features make the Deluxe stunning. This one was refinished using original toners & stains, then finished off in four coats of clear lacquer. The grille cloth is an exact reproduction from Grillecloth.com. The chassis was electronically restored, capacitors re-stuffed in their original Bakelite containers. The line cord was replaced with a new period cloth cord; Bakelite plug is original. It plays and looks great. This radio will turn heads, and look great in your parlor. 17-1/2"H x 16"W x 10"D.
