(wood tube table radio)

Detrola 429 (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This little radio is made by one of my favorite manufacturers. Detrola built some very nice sets and this is a good example of how much effort they put into the appearance of even their smaller sets. This set has been electronically restored, replacing all capacitors and out of tolerance resistors. The cabinet has been refinished with original tone of stain and toners, then shot with four coats of clear lacquer, and there you have it: one beautiful little set. This set still retains its original back in excellent conditon. This set plays loud and clear and is BC only. 12-3/4"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
