Crosley 173 Mantle Radio (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

These early Thirties mantle style radios are personal favorites of mine. This Crosley is a fine example of this with its fluted sdes and top, the fine inlays on the front panel, and the two windows with highly detailed escutcheons. These mantle sets are among the finest looking radios ever built. This set does not come available often. This little Crosley has been detailed inside and out. The chassis has been detailed as well, and then electronically restored, replacing all capacitors and out of tolerance resistors. The cabinet was restored using original shades of stain and toner lacquers. The set still retains its original back in excellent condition. This set will make an excellent addition to the most distinctive collection. 13"W x 9-1/4"H x 6-1/2"D.
