Zenith 5-S-119 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a Black Dial Zenith that doesn't show up too often. This is the same chassis as the 5-S-127 but in a big table model. This is a gorgeous set that has that beautiful dial that lights up yellow, green, and red. The chassis has been cleaned and polished as well as electronically restored. All the capacitors have been replaced in the set as well as resistors that are out of tolerance. The cabinet has been refinished in original toners and stains, and finished in hand rubbed lacquer. The cabinet is as slick as glass, just as it was in 1936. This set still has its original grille cloth. This is a very impressive set with the three inlay stripes rolling over the top of the cabinet. This set plays loud and clear on all three bands, and looks as good as it plays. It would make a great addition to any home or collection. 20"W x 11-1/2"H x 9"D.
