| Model unknown; this Clinton Mfg. Co. of Chicago radio is not listed anywhere, and it comes with the original box. I picked it up years ago from probably the second owner. Mantle-style radio with some nice deco styling and lines, original finish, wood back and resister cord (in amazing condition). There's a complete schematic on the bottom, yellowed but virtually complete. Dial glass, metal bezel, metal place, dial face & pointer all excellent. Case is in great shape & has a few tiny scrapes/rubs/light. Box is worn but in pretty good shape and has the bottom insert; it's only coming apart at the black corner; label shows delivery from some store to a customer in Chicago, and the guy I bought it from probably retraced the 9-8-38 date again because it was fading. Dial & tubes lite up, original and excellent resister cord warms up as expected, but no sound. 10"W x 8"H. |
